Why I Have Chosen These Foundational Approaches: Attachment Theory and Christian Counseling
Christian counseling integrates the most powerful element of change- our faith in and relationship with God. Ultimately, hope is in Him. Attachment theory provides a framework for understanding how our early experiences influence our relational patterns including our view of our relationship with God and how we see ourselves. Together, they offer a holistic approach to mental health that honors both the psychological and spiritual aspects of who we are.
